Full-Service Production
There are more steps between an initial idea and the finished film than you might think. As a full-service production company, we accompany you through the entire process – from conception, direction and camera to the final cut. We create transparency and clarity for our clients by bringing them on board at defined milestones.
1. The Idea
The first idea is usually not the best. But when everyone is happy with the second or tenth idea, we turn it into a storyboard. This is where the images of the film are conceived and planned in detail long before each shoot. Only when everyone involved is happy with the concept do we move on to the next step of planning the shoot.
2. Planning the shoot
Before we press record, a lot of organization is required: locations are visited and permits are obtained. The casting of our actors is always hotly debated. And the closer we get to shooting, the harder we work on the set design. Once all the times are fixed in the shooting schedule, we can finally get started.
3. Shooting
On the day of filming, we harvest the fruits of our labor. There's nothing better than seeing the images in people's heads become real on the screens. No matter how big the production is, a day of filming is always exciting and also a bit exhausting. But with the right crew, it's also great fun - the highlight of the production!
4. Post-production
After the shoot is before the edit. The footage merges with the music and graphics to create a complete work. But post-production is not just about editing. We place great emphasis on sophisticated sound design and individual color grading. Once the film has been approved, we make popcorn and celebrate. The beer is on us!
1. Konzept
Die erste Idee ist meist nicht die beste. Aber wenn alle mit der zweiten oder zehnten Idee zufrieden sind, verwandeln wir diese in ein Storyboard. Darin werden weit vor jedem Dreh die Bilder des Filmes im Detail konzipiert und geplant. Erst wenn alle Beteiligten mit dem Konzept glücklich sind, geht es im nächsten Schritt weiter mit der Drehplanung.
2. Drehplanung
Bevor auf Record gedrückt wird, braucht es einiges an Organisation: Locations werden besichtigt und Genehmigungen eingeholt. Das Casting unserer DarstellerInnen ist immer heiß diskutiert. Und je näher der Dreh rückt, desto fleißiger wird am Setdesign gearbeitet. Sind alle Zeiten im Drehplan fixiert, geht es endlich los.
3. Shooting
Am Drehtag ernten wir die Früchte unserer Arbeit. Nichts ist schöner als die Bilder in den Köpfen der Leute auf den Bildschirmen real werden zu sehen. Egal wie groß die Produktion ist, ein Drehtag ist immer spannend und auch ein bisschen anstrengend. Aber mit der richtigen Crew ist es auch ein riesiger Spaß - das Highlight der Produktion!
4. Postproduktion
Nach dem Dreh ist vor dem Schnitt. Die Aufnahmen verschmelzen mit Musik und Grafiken zu einem runden Gesamtwerk. Doch in der Postproduktion wird nicht nur geschnitten. Wir legen großen Fokus auf ausgeklügelten Sound und individuelles Color Grading. Ist der Film final abgenommen, machen wir Popcorn und feiern. Drehschlussbier bringen wir mit.
